This film features a trickster trio notoriously known as the "Thieving Muskateers", consisting of Slipper, Landlord and Octopus. But rape and pillage is out of the question, as their principle is never to intentionally hurt anyone. Inspector Steve Mok has been on their trail for a long time, but knowing that they are not vicious felons, he doesn't want to draw blood. Man Yee, sole heiress to the distinguished Ding Family's fortunes, has given birth to a boy -- Matthew. However, before her parents and hubby Calvin have a chance to celebrate, he is snatched away by Man Yee's ex-boyfriend Max, who in a state of jealous delusion, thinks Matthew is his own flesh-and-blood. An unfortunate accident leads to Max's untimely death. Max's father, a mafia boss, is out to take revenge, but more importantly, to regain custody of his 'grandson'. A reward of 30 million for the kidnapping of a tiny tot sounds like an offer that the thieving trio cannot refuse. Slipper enlists the help of nurse Melody to babysit Matthew, and falls in love with her. Landlord's childless wife embraces the baby as her own and refuses to let go. Octopus' devoted girlfriend Bak Yin discovers she is pregnant. And adorable Matthew has made his way into everyone's heart, so they have to choose between the ransom and their conscience.
