    Summary:
Depicts the history behind the contemporary struggle of native Hawaiians to achieve sovereignty. Ka Lāhui Hawaiʻi is a native initiative, complete with constitution, which focuses primarily on regaining the rights to native lands lost since the overthrow of Queen Liliʻuokalani. Features Mililani Trask, leader of the movement, who explains the aims of her people and calls upon the United States government to give Hawaiians the same rights to self-government granted to other native groups in the country.
