Nothing has ever gone right in Stanley Brumburger's eight years of life. Paint falls on his head at school, the bullies on the bus take his glasses, and he doesn't have any friends. Then Stanley's neighbor gives him a stone. A magic stone. And he becomes Kid Cool. Suddenly, the other kids like him! He's not having accidents or making silly mistakes.
