Singer/songwriter Beth Nielsen Chapman has worked alongside some of the biggest names in pop and country music, in addition to a successful solo career of her own. With this CD, Chapman turns her attention to stars, and the children wishing upon them, to teach young audiences about the wonders of astronomy. The music is acoustic with nods to other music genres like zydeco, march and bluegrass, though folk is dominant, juxtaposing scientific knowledge with catchy, fun lyrics.
