Wushu teacher Li Hui is looking to shepherd his two sons Li Yi and Li Er through school and into manhood. Li Yi is tipped to win a hotly-contested wushu competition, but he insists on performing her late mother's signature move, which is so difficult that it could cost him the gold medal. His friends have their own trials to face, but darkness intrudes when former wushu prodigy He Le attempts to kidnap some of the wushu students, and Li Er is among the abducted. Along with Li Yi and student Yang Yaowu, Li Hui tracks down the villains to a secluded estate, where the teacher and his students must harness their formidable wushu training in order to save their friends and bring He Le to justice.
