    Rocky: Rocky Balboa, a club fighter seemingly going nowhere, gets his once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to go the distance and come out a winner when fate puts him in the ring with the world heavyweight champion. (2hrs.; 1976). Directed by John G. Avildsen.
    Rocky II: Rocky, having sustained massive injuries in his win against heavyweight champion, Apollo Creed, announces his retirement. But he soon realizes he can't escape his true calling, and prepares for the fight of his life. (1 hr., 59 min.; 1979) Directed by Sylvester Stallone.
    Rocky III: Rocky becomes world famous, scoring ten consecutive wins. But after suffering a humiliating defeat against Clubber Lang, he considers hanging up his gloves.
