Summary:
"A near tragedy was blocked from the mind of the author, and not revealed for 30 years. A spiritual revelation of the incident and spiritual realizations of the special friendship between a military dependent and a local boy were discoveries on the author's life journey with Thomas Kincaid. In December of 1963, four football teammates from Leilehua High School, located in Wahiawa, Hawaii, struggled in their battles with the riptides that gripped them on the shoreline during one of the largest surf ever to hit the North Shore of Oahu. Thomas Kincaid lost his battle with a riptide. His body was dragged a hundred yards out to sea, and was seen rising and falling on 40 to 50 foot waves. "Thomas Kincaid is referred to as, 'The miracle,' because he was the miracle who somehow came to life, while his lifeless body was being retrieved from the ocean. 'The miracle' of Pupukea allowed Tom to eventually become one of the most successful graduates of his high school. His life led to many incredulous adventures which transformed the lives of many people around him. This book also showcases the colorful pictures taken on these adventures. The writings of this book spanned a period of 20 years, because these adventures were unending."--Amazon.
