Summary:
Storyteller Alton Chung tells the story of two brothers from Hawaii who, immediately after the bombing of Pearl Harbor, joined the 100th Battalion/442nd Regimental Combat Team. Theirs was an all-Japanese American unit, which fought in Europe in World War II. Chung recounts how the brothers went from raw recruits to combat veterans, how they learned about courage, honor, and the grim realities of war. For its size and duration of service, the 100th Battalion/442nd Regimental Combat Team is the most highly decorated unit in U.S. military history.
