Description:  1 videodisc : sd., color & b&w ; 4 3/4 in. Requests:  0 Summary:  Charles Titcomb bought the lands of Kilauea from King Kamehameha IV in 1863. He used the land to graze cattle and grow sugar cane which eventually led, in 1881, to the creation of Kilauea Sugar Plantation Company. 2013 marks the 150th anniversary of the founding of Kilauea Town. Because we are losing so many of our "kupunas," this film was created to record their stories.
