    Summary:
Join three young, super-smart sleuths as they solve local crimes and unravel the mysteries of their neighborhood. Dink, Josh, and Ruth Rose encounter their next alphabetical mysteries. It's almost Halloween and reports of strange sounds and even stranger sights are coming from the town's only hotel. It's up to Dink, Josh, and Ruth Rose to uncover the ghostly guest. While picnicking on Squaw Island, the three friends find a hundred dollar bill, and when they return to explore further they find an entire cave full of money. And then they head to New York City to visit Dink's uncle, the curator of a museum with a dazzling new treasure--a statue of a jaguar cradling an emerald between its front paws. But when the emerald is stolen and replaced with a fake, Dink, Josh, and Ruth Rose must locate the real thief!
